Description
Datoff Construction is a long-standing General Contractor in Northern B.C. We bring pride in our projects and enjoy a lively work environment. We work in Commercial, Civil, and Industrial Construction and seeking experienced seeking Carpenters and Carpenter Apprentices.
Tasks include forming and pouring foundations, framing, installation of doors and hardware.
Duties
- Knowledgeable in building code and construction math
- Experience in preparing material take-offs and reading blueprints
- Assist with demolition and debris removal
- Erecting and disassembling of scaffolding
- Experience in wood and steel stud framing application
- Experience in finish carpentry skills
- Affectively communicate job site conditions and concerns that may affect the completion of a job
- Practice workplace safety
Qualifications
- 2 + years’ experience in construction
- Knowledgeable in the use and application of tools and materials for job completion
- Ability to work well with a team and on your own
- Ability to communicate and interact both verbally and written
- A keen eye to details and good decision making
- Ability to complete work projects on time and in an effective manner
- Ability to take and follow instruction from supervisor

Datoff Bros. bids projects throughout Northern BC. Travel and work in remote locations may be required.
